For the 1st time in the history fans were able to follow on TV the real-time location of the 36 greatest triathletes in the World during
the swim, bike and run portions of the Collins Cup. This was possible thanks to a new generation of waterproof GPS tracker designed for triathlons.
We are proud to have delivered to PTO new data and statistics such as: time gaps, speed, heart rate, travelled distance, points per team, projected score…
A 3D map was also used by the live TV director to locate the 12 different groups and compare them at any time. Moreover, a cutting-edge data dashboard
was accessible to the team captains and TV commentators, to monitor the performance of the athletes and to improve the storytelling to the fans.
