GEORACING IN ACTION FOR THE TAYK - EKER OLYMPOS REGATTA IN TURKEY

The Eker Olympos Regatta, organized by the Türkiye Açıkdeniz Yarış Kulübü (TAYK) in partnership with the Turkish Sailing Federation and Eker, has established itself as one of Turkey’s most prestigious sailing festivals. Since its first edition in 2013, the regatta was traditionally run over three days on the Moda – Tirilye – Moda route.

In 2024, the event made a major leap forward in Istanbul, transforming into a large-scale sailing festival with new race categories such as J/70, IOM, Match Race, dinghies, and yachts. Sailing’s visibility was pushed to a new level thanks to live video broadcasts, enhanced TV graphics, and active social media interaction. GEORACING played a central role in this transformation in both 2024 and 2025, partnering with Istanbul-based production company Broaduction. With two expert operators on site—one dedicated to immersive 3D race views and another to delivering real-time TV graphics including rankings and individual statistics—GEORACING brought fans closer than ever to the action.
