AUGMENTED REALITY FOR THE U.S. PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS ON BFM TV

We had the privilege of enhancing BFM TV’s coverage of the U.S. presidential elections by integrating augmented reality into the broadcast. Our team designed the virtual environment using Unreal Engine to recreate the White House and its gardens. The settings allowed us to switch seamlessly between ‘day’ and ‘night’ modes, reflecting the time of day in the U.S. This innovative approach brought a new level of interactivity and immersion to the heart of the event.

A Virtual Studio with a 3D White House

As part of this groundbreaking project, we created a fully virtual studio featuring a realistic 3D model of the White House. This immersive environment provided viewers with a dynamic and visually striking backdrop that elevated the storytelling around the election.

Interactive Map Animation of the U.S.

In addition to the virtual studio, we animated an interactive map of the United States. This feature allowed real-time visualization of election results by state, offering an intuitive and engaging way for viewers to track the progress of the vote count.

With these advanced tools, BFM TV was able to deliver a more captivating and informative coverage of one of the world’s most closely followed political events.
